John Jacob Kline was born on 2 Feb 1781 in Lambsheim, Ludwigshafen, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, son of Johann Peter Klein (1741 - 1819) and Maria Margaretha (Statler) Klein (1741 - 1815).
His sister was Maria Eva (Klein) Acker (~1764 - ).
John (~22) married Susanna Gross (~17) (1785 - 1872) in 1803. Their children were:
- Maria Kline ( - 1878)
- John W Kline (1813 - 1903)
- Joseph Kline (~1814 - ~1901).
John died on 11 Feb 1857 in Weisenburg, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, USA aged 76.
