Aletha Virginia Murr was born on October 23, 1921 in Leavenworth, Kansas to Albert and Aletha (Oliphant) Knapp. She married Charles Henry Murr on February 24, 1940 at Leavenworth, Kansas. They were the parents of Rod, Aileen, and Arleen. She was employed by Rio Grande County, Colorado. She died on July 6, 2013 at the age of 91 in Alamosa, Colorado.
