Knapp-4646 and Knapp-267 appear to represent the same person because: Same parents (will match or set dups for merge). Birth date off by one month, same place. Same first wife. Child Moses on both profiles, both born in 1709. No sources on -4646. Please merge.

Knapp-758 was merged into Knapp-62. A merge of Knapp-257 into Knapp-62 was proposed and correctly rejected 17 January 2016. John Knapp-257 and Caleb Knapp-62 are brothers. See Nicholas Knapp genealogy. by Knapp, Alfred Averill. 1953. Pages 13 and 14.</ref> Wives Hannah Ferris and Martha Mead were incorrectly connected with Caleb when they were actually the wives of John.

There are too many problems with merging this profile with Knapp-758. Birth date are wide apart, as well as the death date. More research is needed beside the book. Hopefully is was not merged by someone else.

Knapp-758 and Knapp-267 appear to represent the same person because: Knapp-758 and Knapp-267 appear to represent the same person because: These profiles certainly are meant to represent the same person (same parents), but everything else is different. Looks like the problem is insufficient quality sources used in Knapp-267. A quick look at Nicholas Knapp Genealogy http://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=wu.89061975561;view=1up;seq=26 finds he information on Knapp-758 is correct.

Please complete the merge (as it is set up) into the lower number, Knapp-267. When choosing the form data, please choose the info from Knapp-758. All the biography information will be retained. If you have any questions, or are not certain about how to complete this merge, just approve it, and then ask .... or leave it for someone else to complete. Thanks!
