Is there contemporaneous support for assigning him a "current last name" of "Knop?"
I found a document on Ancestry that states my ancestor (Otherwise known as "Mary Andrew") is the daughter of John Knapp. She is listed among the children he identified in his will, & also the name of her husband, Simon Tozer. "The Knapp family in America : a genealogy of the descendants of William Knapp who settled in Watertown, Mass" Is this enough info to connect my Mary with this family? Kelly Fitzgerald (kbeafitz)
