George was born about 1548 ^[1] and died in October 1612 ^[1][2]

Although he seems to be living in Newton, Suffolk in his will he leaves property in Great Waldingfield and Acton, Suffolk to John.

He names in his will:

Research Notes

George has previously been shown as son of Martha Blois. No good source has been found for this relationship.

George is most probably the son of John Knopp of Cornard Parva, Suffolk. Will 1692 to son Thomas, grandson Thomas (son of Thomas), George Knopp and Thomas Crosse mentioned as brother-in-law, so George had at least one Aunt.
