Biography
Nathaniel Knapp, son of John and Deborah (Cross) Knapp, was born on 28 March 1728 (Bible Record) or 28 March 1728 (Stamford Record) at Stamford, Fairfield, Connecticut.[1]
He married Jemima Ward, daughter of Samuel Ward, on 31 May 1751 at Norwalk, Connecticut.[1]
He married Margaret Rawlins on 15 Jan. 1782.[1]
Nathaniel died on 22 Feb. 1804, some records have 1812, but that is his son. His will was written on 4 Feb. 1797 and proved 15 Sep. 1804.[1]
