Benjamin Knight was born in Newbury, Essex County. Massachusetts, on August 21, 1668. He was the son of John Knight and Bathsheba Ingersoll Knight, ^{[1][2][3] [4]}

Benjamin was married in Newbury to Abigail Jaques about 1693. Abigail was the daughter of Henry Jaques and Anne Knight Jaques.^{[5] [2][4]}

Benjamin Knight died in Newbury about May 2, 1737. ^[6]
