Biography
On July 27, 1900 Luvina Gragg (20) married George Knight (21) at Ringgold, Iowa. Luvina was born in Ringgold County to Wm R Gragg and Nancy Snodgrass. George, a farmer in Ringgold County was the son of Lewis C Knight and Nancy Jane Smith.[1]
At time of WWI Draft, George Lennerd Knight was 38 years old and living at Van Wert in Decataur County, Iowa. He was married and employed with Standard Oil Co in Keokuk, Iowa. Birth was cited as July 24, 1880. Next of kin was his wife, Luvina Knight. He was described as medium height and build with brown hair and brown eyes.[2]
George died in 1934 and was buried at Horton Cemetery.[3]
