He had four siblings, namely: Ethel Jane, William John, Isabella Hannah, and Clara Maria. He died on 13 Dec 1958^[2] in Gosford, New South Wales, Australia. When he was 29, he married Ivy Creswell Parfitt, daughter of William Parfitt and Ruth Burton, on 20 Oct 1913^[3] in Queensland, Australia.
