One theory for parentage:

When Jacob was born in 1810 in Jefferson County, TN, his father John was 20 and his mother Rachel Hankins was 17. He married Rebecca Little Nov 20, 1833 in Jefferson County, Tennessee. He died in 1860 in Kentucky at age 50. Siblings Henry Knight 1816 William Knight 1828 James Knight 1831 Alexander Knight 1833 and Harvey D. Knight 1835-1927. Jacob, along with these brothers, show up in the 1860 census in Hamilton County, TN, as well as 1850 Christian City, Kentucky. Brothers of John Knight settled in Illinois. Jacob and Rebecca had 8 children. Jake, Sophronia Ann or Thomas belong. Livisa is actually Louisa.
