Biography

James was born in 1814. He passed away in 1901.

According to his grave memorial, he married first Harriett Youngblood and after her death in 1861 married second in 1865 to Martha Ann Harper. Ten children are listed on his grave memorial.

He signed his will 21 Jun 1899 naming his wife Martha A Knight and Benjamin C Knight to receive land in Section 32 township 10-13 in Jones County, Mississippi. [1]

His will was probated 14 Oct 1901 in Jones County, Mississippi.[2]
