Richard was christened on January 7 1811 in Corney, Cumberland to parents Thomas and Ann. [1]
Richard Knight married Anne Porter in Irton on April 17 1831.[2] They had eight children together. He passed away in 1844. [3]
In 1841 Richard and Anne were in Irton, Cumberland with four of their children. [4]
