Mr. Franklin Knight, of Villiers Street, Penshurst, passed away on February 2, in his 73rd year. The interment took place in the Methodist portion of the Woronora Cemetery on Saturday afternoon last. The deceased was a brother of Mr. Edwin Knight, a well-known, resident of the district, who resided in the same street prior to his departure for Waitara.[1]

The death occurred last Thursday evending at Penshurst, of Franklin Knight, aged 72 years. Deceased leaves a widow and grown up family of three sons and two daughters. Messrs. Pres. and Stanley Knight, of this locality, are sons, while Mrs: A. C. Brown (Yallah), is a daughter. Deceased lived in this district for many years and was highly respected.[2]
