Harrison L. Knight was born on March 22, 1855, in Georgia, the child of John A. and Ruth. He married Sarah A M Sockwell in 1880 in Newton County, Georgia. They had four children in 16 years. He died on August 2, 1918, in Newton County, Georgia, at the age of 63, and was buried in Covington, Georgia.
