Biography
Lewis (sometimes shown as Louis) was born in 1903. He is the son of John Knowles and Annie Rapley. [1]
Lewis served in the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) during WW2. (Military records give his DOB as December 21, 1904) [2]
