In her case when I was researching children of Isaac and Sarah I came across her birth under Knowles but a death record as Sparrow. The cert listed her married so it's just a case of finding a marriage record if possible. Sometimes there is not enough identical points of information to be sure. In this case it had both parents and the location and I'll always use the source if I'm certain it's correct. It's a thread to follow to find the husband but sometimes other areas are important at the time.
