Biography

James Knowles, II is the second son of James Knowles, I and Patience Marvel Knowles. He was the second son cited and it is therefore assumed that this James was born after the eldest, Prettyman (b.1780) and before Eddy (b.1785). The 1783 birth year represents this assumption.

James married Amy Reed in Green Co, Georgia, 3 January 1806[1]
