Biography

Charlotte Knowles was born about 1792 in Eleuthera, Bahamas to likely parents Samuel Knowles and Mary Oliver Knowles.

She married Thomas Longley, son of John Longley and Catherine Ritter Longley, 6 February 1808, in Governor's Harbour, Eleuthera, Bahamas. They had children - among them: Frances Rebecca Sarah, Catherine Elizabeth Ann, Thomas, and Charlotte Longley.

Charlotte Longley, wife of Thomas, of New Providence, shopkeeper, and Abigail Longley, wife of John, of the one part, signed a deed of release, in 1813, between themselves and Robert Wier of New Providence, of the other part.

Charlotte Longley passed away after her husband.
