Research Notes

John Knowler the son of Robert and Susan is buried in Herne, dying in 1655 ( or has a memorial Memorials of Herne) so is unlikely to have died in Virginia. Possibly the mix-up is due to the fact that Robert and Susan were created with surname Knowles, when they are in fact Knowler.
