William Knowles was born in Raunds, Northamptonshire, England.
William was the son of WIlliam Elliott and Mary Knowles. He was christened on 29 Sep 1839 at Raunds, Northamptonshire. [1]
In 1841, he was 1 year old and living at Thorp End, Raunds. [2]
By 1851, he was 11 years old and a Scholar. [3]
William Elliot (age 20), son of William Elliot Knowles, married Leanna Wagstaffe on 16 July 1860 in Yelden, Bedford, England.[4]
William Elliott (age 31), son of William Elliott Knowles, married Annie Maria Talbot on 11 June 1871 in Northampton, St Edmund, Northamptonshire, England.[5]
In 1873, he married Caroline Pinkard at Northampton. [6]
In 1891, he was living in St Edmunds Street, Northampton and was 51 years old. He was working as a Shoe Maker[7]
'In 1901, he was 61 years old and working in the Shoe Trade (Maker). He was living in St Giles, Northampton.[8]
He passed away in 1905 and his death was registered in Thrapston, Northamptonshire. He was 66 years old. [9]
