Biography

David was a Friend (Quaker)


David and Anna were founding members of the Ferrisburg, VT Preparative Meetings (Society of Friends) and Farnham, Quebec (1820). He was formerly a member of the Uxbridge, RI, Monthly Meeting

Besides Robert and David, the couple had a son Henry Knowles (1805-1829 Ferrisburg, VT) who married Amanda A. Hall (1805 Hancock, MA-1855 Ferrisburg, VT) . Henry and Amanda's daughter, Lois, was born in East Farnham, Quebec, Canada in 1829 and died 1904 in Iowa.
