LOYD STEPHEN KNOX Graveside memorial services for Loyd Stephen Knox, 55, of Crossville, who passed away Feb. 25, 1999, were held Feb. 28 from Harris Cemetery. He was born Feb. 22, 1944 in Crossville, the son of Ralph and Wilma Knox. Mr. Knox was a truck driver, and he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Vietnam era. Survivors include his daughters, Debbie Holsemback of Ringgold, GA, Samantha Prescott of Murfreesboro, TN, and Rebecca Shaver of Chattanooga; mother, Wilma Knox of Crossville; and sisters, Brenda Neal of Crossville, and Sandra Sidwell of Crossville. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Knox, and infant son, Sam Knox. Pallbearers were Mose Bristow, Earl Ed Monday, Gary Monday, Michael Pape, Herbert Pyle, Delane Sidwell and Jason Sidwell. John Bristow officiated. Crossville Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
