The names of Henry’s children come from his will and are quoted in Monocacy and Catoctin, Vol. 3 at the Koon website. The article states he or his father was probably a Palatine German who embarked for America from the Netherlands. There seems to be some uncertainty about which "Henry" was the immigrant.
There is a Henry "Coons" listed with his wife, ages 45 & up in the Jackson County, Ohio census for 1820. He is no longer there in 1830. Could this be the Henry who died in 1821? Need to verify this. (1/17/2003).
There is also a William Crow and his wife at about the same age listed in the same census.
There is a Jacob Koontz listed “as a settler or owner of the Military lots surveyed for the state by Francis Deakins in 1788.” p. 7

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Henry by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Henry:
