I've been trying to figure out my family tree for years, with some success & some failure. My main focus has been my mother's family, surname Rogers. Other names in that line are, Lawson, Robertson, Shelton, Marks, Daniel, Moseley, Brown, Miller, Cunningham, Shinn, Hackett and more. My brick wall is Hawkins. My earliest known matrilinial ancestor is one Jane Hawkins, b. 1824, in Delaware, d. 1885, in Iowa. Married Sidner Brown in Ohio.
