Biographical Information
Considered to be one of the strongest Go players in history.
son of Kuwabara Wazo, a merchant
at 8, left home to attend Honinbo school (Institute of "Go")
died of Cholera after attending to patience of the disease at the Honinbo
"Shusaku fuseki" - an opening method of Go - is named for him[1]
2014 a Google Doodle commemorated his birthday[2]
