Notes

Taken from FS (https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/collaborate/LW6Y-97M): "William Lasswell, John's father, had died by 1722 and Isaac Lasswell John's older brother had signed some of Williams property over as his heir in 1722. Isaac Lasswell had died in 1726 and John was now acting as William's "son and Heir", signing more property over in 1727. Also note that John Lasswell is "of Virginia". Therefore the Lasswells had moved on to Stafford County Virginia by 1727.

"Since William Lasswell, the immigrant ancestor, received a certificate for the Talbot Co., MD, 100 acre tract known as "Sought Out", on 10 April, 1689, it is important that the same tract was conveyed to Edward Turner on 22 June, 1722, by Isaac Lasswell. there is no evidence of a conveyance from William Lasswell to Isaac Lasswell. The only logical explanation of this is that William must have died in Maryland before 22 June, 1722, and Isaac had inherited the land from his father, under the laws of intestate succession in force at that time. As the oldest son, Isaac would have inherited the land."

Lacefield-20 and Laswell-8 appear to represent the same person because: Sons of Robert and Ann. Dates for Laswell-8 probably correct. Both profiles need sources.

Surname was Lasswell or Laswell in earliest records. Lacefield only used much later.

Please check dates. Person cannot be married before birth. Probably a typo. Thank you.
