He died in 1901 and is buried at Galatia Cemetery in Baxter County, Arkansas.[4]

William Tucker Lackey is reportedly the son of William Archer Lackey who was a brother to Robert Waid Lackey who also had a son William H. H. Lackey. Wm. Archer and Robert both being sons of Amos.
