Biography

Oscar was born in 1928 in Badin, NC to Olney Vogel Lackey and Cora Alice Morton. He married Ann Radcliffe (Barrs) List in 1988 in Albuquerque, NM. He passed away there in 2013 and is buried in the Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque.

"Oscar B. Lackey, 85, died peacefully at his home in Albuquerque on November 28, 2013. Per his request there will be no services, although family members will gather to celebrate his life in early spring. His love for animals, especially dogs, anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution may contact Animal Humane New Mexico (505-255-5523, or www.animalhumanenm.org)."
