Biography

Abner, son of Joseph Lacock, was born in Fairfax County, Virginia on 9 July 1770.[1]

In 1790, Abner Laycock resided in Amwell Township, Washington Co., Pennsylvania in a household of 3.[2][1]

Abner married about 1790 to Hannah Eddy. They had children:[1]

  • Bathsheba, b.1791, d.1878, m. Ephraim Pentland
  • Atlas Eddy, b.1794, d.15 Aug 1847, m. Louisa Lyon
  • Dryden, b.c.1797, d.15Oct 1818 in West Point NY
  • Minerva, b.c.1800, m. Lewis Reno
  • Caroline, b.c.1803, m. Adam Bausman
  • Adelaide, b.c.1809, m. John Linton
  • Abner Pentland, b.12 Apr 1812, d.20 Apr 1888 unm.

Abner went to Beaver Co., PA in 1796, where he died on 12 April 1837.[1]
