John Ladd was born around 1707 and passed away around 1762. He was the son of William Ladd and Huldah Binford. John had five sisters and three brothers and he fathered quite a few children of his own.[1][2][3][4][5]
John Ladd appears to be of the Quaker faith. Many of the major events of his life are meticulously recorded in the Quaker Meeting Minutes held between 1707 and 1762. His official "Intention to Marry" Mary Margaret Crew is documented on May 1, 1725.[6]
