Marie Renée Lafond was born on 20 March 1692 in Batiscan, Trois-Rivières, Canada, New France, daughter of Jean Lafond (~1646–1716) and Catherine Sénécal (~1649–<1694).

Marie (23) married Damien Tifaut (23) (born on 10 November 1692 in Batiscan, Nouvelle-France; son of Jacques Thifault and Marie Anne Lescuyer) on 17 February 1716 in Batiscan. Their children were:

Marie passed away on 12 October 1767 in Sainte-Geneviève-de-Batiscan, Champlain, Quebec, Canada, aged 75.

Marie Renée de LAFOND, fille de Jean et Catherine SÉNÉCAL, est baptisée à Batiscan, le 20 mars 1692-03-20. Son parrain a été Charles LESIEUR, et sa marraine Marie Madeleine TROTTIER. [1]

Elle épouse Damien TIFFAUT LASAVANNE, fils de Jacques et Marie Anne LÉCUYER, le 17 février 1716 à Batiscan. De nombreux parents et amis assistent à la cérémonie dont Antoine et Jacques TIFFAUT, Antoine, Pierre, Nicolas et Paul LÉCUYER, François HERBEC, Urbain et Gervais LEFEBVRE, Paul BERTRAND, Étienne et Pierre LAFOND, Amable BRILLARD LAROCHE, François COSSET, Pierre LAROCHE et Antoine TROTTIER.
