Jean (Lafond) Lafond Mongrain lived
in Canada, Nouvelle-France.

Jean Lafond / De Lafond dit Mongrain was baptized on 13 October 1681 at Batiscan in Canada, Nouvelle-France. He was the son of Pierre Lafond / De Lafond and Marie Madeleine Rivard.[1][2]

Jean married Marie Françoise Rivard dite L'Oranger on 16 Nov 1716 at the church of Saint-François in Batiscan.[2][3][4]

Marie Françoise and Jean had eleven children togather from 1717 through 1735, including five girls and six boys. At least five of their children went on to marry.[3]

Jean lived to be 62 years old. He was buried on 19 Aug 1744 at Batiscan, survived by at least eight of his children.[2][3]
