My dad was an orphan. Any information about his family was always a treat.

My mom has been the oral historian for the family but dementia is a thief and a thug. I am trying to document the oral history and fill in the gaps of information that have been already been forgotten.

I am researching histories for Laings, Holts, Hurdles, Carrolls, MaGouirks, Vicks, and Boyters.... That's just to begin. Once I become experienced, who knows what I'll research.
