The Commisarriat of Dunkeld lists 2 Alexander Lairds one in Chapeltown who was the son of James of Chapeltown. The other was in Meigle and married to Jean. The Commisarriat also lists a Testament date of 17 Jun 1719 for this Alexander. [2]
