The John Lake linked as her father was born in 1712 so can't be her father. Should be Lake-515
posted by Randall Gardner
The biography states the mother to be Martinah (Wilkins) and not the one actually linked, Nelly Claessen. Which one is correct? I have Martinah as the dau. of John Wilkens and Geertruyt Willekens

You are correct from my research, Randall. The parents should be Lake-515-John Lake and Martinah (Wilkins) Lake . We really need to get this straightened out as it is incorrect. The will of John Lake (Lake-515) lists Martinah as his wife and children Richard, Nailee, Hannah, Sarah, and John (deceased). https://search.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/sse.dll?indiv=1&dbid=4723&h=27744&ssrc=pt&tid=164419278&pid=142173283688&usePUB=true and https://www.ancestry.com/interactive/2793/32669_236600-00194/22525?backurl=https://www.ancestry.com/family-tree/person/tree/164419278/person/142173283688/facts/citation/582242296177/edit/record
