Crow, Richard Crow, Moses Crow, Martin Crow, James Clayton and wife, Sally, formerly Sally Crow, Humphrey Hopper and wife, Rebecca, formerly Rebecca Crow, William Gresham and wife, Polly, formerly Polly Crow, and Jane Crow, children at law of Polly Crow, formerly Polly Lamb, and (Jerry?) Farmer, Fredrick Farmer, Martin Farmer, Squire Farmer, Edmund Curry and wife Sally, formerly Sally Farmer, Valentine Ritch and wife, Miranda, formerly Farmer, William Hoke and his wife, Polly, formerly Polly Farmer, Washington Morgan and wife, Amanda, formerly Amanda Farmer, and Jane Farmer and Lewrissa (?) Farmer who are the children and heirs at law of Peggy Farmer formerly Peggy Lamb, the last of whom are infants under twenty one years of age and sue by their next friend, John Lamb Sr. and John Lamb, Jr. Polly Smith, Nelly Lamb, William Lamb, Willis Lamb, Elizabeth Lamb and Wiley Lamb, an infant under twenty one years of age, who sues by his next friend, John Lamb Sr. all of whom are the children and heirs at law of William Lamb, deceased, and Levi Lamb, would respectfully represent to you Honor, that they, together with Elizabeth Vaughn, formerly Lamb, Moses Lamb, Martin Lamb, and Elizabeth Wood, formerly Clayton, Moses Clayton, William Bradshaw, and wife, Sally, formerly Sally Clayton, John Clayton, Polly Ann Clayton, and Phoebe Wood, formerly Clayton, children and heirs at law, of Jensey Clayton, formerly Jensey Lamb, and heirs at law and legal representatives of one Longshear Lamb, who departed this life interstate many years ago in the county of Caldwell, within the jurisdiction of your Honorable Court. Your orators and oratrixes would further state, that the said Longshear Lamb at the time of his death was seizear(?) and possessor of a certain track of land, lying and being in the County of Caldwell on both sides of Flynn's fork of the Trade Waters River, containing one hundred and fifty acres, more or less. A more particular description of which land, as well as the boundaries thereof, can be seen by reference to the original deed of William Crow to Longshear Lamb, which, or a certified copy thereof marked Z will be filed herein, and is prayed (?) to be taken as part of this Bill. They would further state, that the said tract of land is not worth one hundred dollars to each distributive share, and can not well be divided in kind, and will have to be sold, for the purpose of effecting a division. They would further state, that the said tract of lands or the proceeds of the sale thereof will have to be divided into nine parts. One of which will belong to John Lamb Sr., one to Martin Lamb, one to Moses Lamb. One to Elizabeth Vaughn, formerly Lamb, one to Levi Lamb, one to the children and heirs of William Lamb, deceased, one share to the heirs of Peggy Farmer, formerly Lamb, one to the children and heirs of Jensey Clayton, formerly Lamb, and one share to the children and heirs to Polly Crow, formerly Lamb. They would further state, that the said Elizabeth Wood, Moses Clayton, William Bradshaw and wife, Sally, John Clayton, Phoebe Wood, Elizabeth Vaughn and Moses Lamb are now residents og the State of Kentucky. In as much therefore as you orators are without any adequate remedy, save in your honorable court where matters of this kind are properly cognizable, and to this end that the justice may be don them in the premise, they pray (?) that the said Elizabeth Wood, Moses Clayton, William Bradshaw, and wife Sally, formerly Clayton, John Clayton, Polly Ann Clayton Phoebe Wood, Elizabeth Vaughn, Moses Lamb, and Martin Lamb may be made defendants to this bill, and may be compelled to answer on oath all singular the allegations herein contained, and they ask for an order of warning against Elizabeth Wood, Moses Clayton, William Bradshaw, and wife Sally, John Clayton, Polly Ann Clayton, Phoebe Wood, Elizabeth Vaughn, and Moses Lamb, and on his trial and final hearing of this case, they pray; your honor to adjudge (?) order and decree after deducting the costs of this suit, that the said tract of land, may be sold, and the proceeds of the said sale may be divided among the heirs of the said Longshear Lamb, deceased, as there are severally, entitled thereto - one ninth part to John Lamb, SR., one ninth part to Martin Lamb, one ninth part to Moses lamb, one ninth part to Levi Lamb, SR., one ninth part to Elizabeth Vaughn, one ninth part to the children and heirs of William Lamb (deceased), one ninth part to the children and heirs of Peggy Farmer (deceased), one ninth part to the children and heirs of Polly Crow (deceased) and to grant to your orators and oratrixes such other and further relief, as you may seem equitable and just in the premises, and as is duty bound, they will ever pray. John Lamb, Sr., John D. Crow, and others.

Caldwell Court Act Trisidary (?)Personally appeared before the undersigned and acting Justice of the peace and made oath in the due form of law that the matters and things are stated in the foregoing bill upon his own knowledge are true, and those stated from the information of others he believes to be true. Given under my hand this 25 (?) day of July 1845."
