Born William Thomas Lamb about 1889 to John Lamb and Emma Brooks in Davie County, North Carolina. He was working in a textile mill by 1917[1]and retired from the textile mills before his death in 1965 at age 76[2]and is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Salisbury, Rowan County, North Carolina.[3]
He married Viola Riley before 1917 and had ? children.(citation needed)

Draft Registration for WWI: 1917 in Kannapolis, North Carolina; details on the card indicate he is married, employed at Cannon Mills, and is described as of medium height and slender build with blue eyes and light hair. While not disabled, he apparently had an injury to his right hand/arm.[6]
