Biography

Daniel Gad was born in 1744 in Wilbraham, Massachusetts Bay Colony.

In 1772, Gad married Penelope Leonard, daughter of Daniel and Penelope Leonard, with the Intention to Marry recorded in Sept [1] and the marriage in Oct [2] [3] . They had three children: Frances, Penelope and Noah. Penelope passed away in 1777. [4]

Gad’s second marriage was to Jerusha Ripley, daughter of Ebineezer and Mehitable (Burbank) Ripley, on 7 Jan 1779 [5] and their children were Daniel, Harry, Sally, Martha, Jerusha, Loran, Nancy, Clarissa, Maria & Ebenezer Lamb.

They moved to Pennsylvania and he founded the village of Lambs Creek in Richmond Township, Tioga, PA. See https://www.joycetice.com/1883/richmon1.htm for more information.
