Biography

Isreal Lamb was born about 1737. His parents were Barzillai Lamb and Sarah Knowlton. [citation needed]

He married Lucy Wheeler on October 31, 1765. [1]

They had these children, born in Templeton: [1]

    Private Isreal Lamb served with 18th Massachusetts Bay Provincial Regiment (1775), Continental Army during the American Revolution.

Israel Lamb of Templeton was a minuteman in the American Revolution, serving in Capt. Joel Fletcher's company,, Col. Ephraim Doolittle regt. [2] [3] [4] [5]

Hannah (Piper) Sawyer and Israel Lamb were married in Phillipston, Massachusetts on Sep 10, 1787. [1] [6]

Israel Lamb died in Templeton, Massachusetts on March 24, 1826 at age 89 in Templeton, [1] and is buried at Templeton Common Burial Ground. [7]
