Sacred
to the memory of
Mr. Israel Lamb,
who died,
Mar. 24, AD 1826,

By zeal and firmness in the cause and

which he discharged the duties of a citizen, a neighbor, a father,
and a follower of Christ, and by early and continued habits
of virtue, temperance and sobriety, he laid the foundation
of a quiet and honourable old age, and was gathered to his fathers in peace.
