Biography
Dollie was the daughter of James H. and Jane "Nannie" Lamb of Madison County, Kentucky. She was the sister of Earless, Carlass, Carvy, Cares, Nettie, Milard, and Rollie (her twin.) Dollie married Osker Cates, also of Madison County. Their children were Vola (who died soon after her birth), Helen, Arnold, Noel, and Wade. They lived in Madison County, near Bighill, and also in Warren County, Ohio. Dollie is buried next to her husband in the Cates Cemetery in Madison County.
