Baptisim 20 July 1803
Baptised in Bingley York England. Martha was born in 1780 and was baptised 5 days before her wedding. Wonder why?

Martha Married Thomas Hodgson on the 25 July 1803.
2nd marriage 11 July 1838
On the 11 July 1838 Martha Hodgson married Francis Day, a cattle Jobber, both lived a Back George Street. Martha is iliterate as she signed with an x. Her father is correctly listed as William Lambert who occupation was a clogger.

Martha's Husband Fancis Day died on th 2nd October 1851. His address is listed as Moxon's Yard, he was 55 years old. This address matches with the letters sent back by Benjamin and William.

Census
Martha is living in the Harrison Alms House at the time of the census in 1851. her occupation is listed as calf dealer (Frances Days occupation!) It lists her birth place as Bingley York. Her age is given as 86 and is most probably wrong.
Death
A search of Leeds, England, Beckett Street Cemetery, 1845-1987 for Martha Day Burials - Anglicans Ref LC/CEM (B)/1/1, Numbers 1-18747, 1845-1862, shows martha been buried on the 24 January 1862 aged 82 years. This would put her birth at 1780. At the time of death she was living at Harrison Almshouses. A search of http://www.leodis.net/display.aspx?resourceIdentifierhttp://www.leodis.net/display.aspx?=200439_22362917, shows what is possibly the build Martha lived in these were built in 1653 and demolished in 1962.
