1918: June 5, registered for WWI draft. Thomas states he was born on July 31, 1896, in Lyles, Tennessee, and that his father was born in the same place. Nearest relative is listed as J. L. Lambert in Lyles. The registrar says Thomas is short, slender, and has brown hair and eyes.[3]
1920, no longer listed with Joseph and Lou in the census. He may have married Maud Ragsdale in 1919, but more research is needed.
