1850 - Wesley was living at home with his wife, Mary, and eight of their children in Franklin County, Tennessee. He was 48 and Mary was 40. Farmer.[2]
1855 - living in Johnson County at the time of the 1855 State Census.
Males - 2 under age 10; 4 age 10 - 20; 1 age 20 - 30; 1 age 50 - 60.
Females - 2 age 10 - 20; 1 age 40 - 50.
1860 - living in Johnson County with wife Mary and children. Age 65. Farmer.[3]
1870 - living in Johnson County with Mary and three of their children. Age 76. Farmer. Cannot read or write.[4]
1880 - living in New Burnside, Johnson County, with Mary and Hezekiah James. Age 90, farmer.[5]
1888 - Wesley died on May 1. He is buried in Rich Cemetery, New Burnside.[6]
