Biography

George Robert Lambert, son of Captain Robert Lambert and his wife, Catherine Byndloss was baptised at St Marylebone on 3 October 1795. [1] He joined the Royal Navy in 1809.[2]

On 20 May 1822 at St Laurence in Hawkhurst he married Katherine Cobb. [3]

In 1861 George, who described himself as a retired admiral was living with Katherine at Hastings in Sussex.[4]

He passed away 5 June 1869. [2]
