Biography

William was born April 21, 1868, in Johnston County, North Carolina. He was the son of David and Essie Lambert, both also born in Johnston County. William died on May 28, 1940 in Raleigh. His wife is listed as Mrs. Elizabeth Lambert, age 69. Informant was L. C. Lambert. Willam was buried in Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh.[1]


1910 census shows wife as Olivia. They have a son Homer, age 6. However, another Lambert family in Wake Co. has a son Homer C., also age 6. More research needed.[2]
