Biography

Daniel Meader Lambert was born 4 August 1831, in Falmouth, Maine. He was the son of Joseph A. Lambert (abt.1802-1881) and Mary (Meader) Lambert (bef.1810-bef.1845).^[1]

In 1850, the family is living in Falmouth, Maine. Joseph is a stone cutter.^[2]

Daniel graduated from Harvard Law School in 1857.^[3] On 19 August 1857, Daniel married Ellen (Scudder) Lambert (1841-aft.1910) in Barnstable, Massachusetts.^[4]

In 1860, Daniel and Ellen are living in Muscatine, Iowa. ^[5] They are also in Muscatine in 1870.^[6]

In 1880, the family is also in Muscatine, Iowa.^[7]

In 1900, Daniel and Ellen are living in Denver, Colorado. Daniel and Ellen havve been married for 42 years. They had three children, two of whom are still living. ^[8]

Daniel died at age 76 on 1 October 1907, in Somerville, Massachusetts.^[1] He is buried in the Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.^[9][10]
