DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with John by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with John:

Currently, this profile has some inconsistencies in dates. The main section shows John was born 28 Mar 1715 and died 26 Nov 1772. However, in the Biography section, it says "John was born in 1680. John Lambert ... He passed away in 1736." Obviously, both can't be correct.

However, it is more complex than just using one or the other set of dates. If John was born in 1715, then he could not have been the father of John Lambert (1700-1779). And if he died in 1736, then he could not have been the father of Abner Lambert (1749-1833).

Further complicating this is that according to Find a Grave, John Lambert, the son of John Lambert (1715-1772) and Elizabeth Sayre (1716-1760), was born in 1750 and died in 1759 at the age of 8-9. This implies that John and Elizabeth are not the parents of John Lambert [Lambert-3731].

Based on all of this, I do not have confidence in the relationships depicted here. I would welcome any thoughts on this. FYI - Daniel Lambert [Lambert-1614] is my 5th great grandfather.

Do we have any sources for this connection? I can't find any on Ancestry. I'll comb through the online Quaker meeting notes to see if I can find something.

Lambert-3732 and Lambert-1874 appear to represent the same person because: Same name, same parents
