Biography

Sarah Lambert, born say 1636, was the daughter of Richard Lambert and _____ "Sarah" _____.[1]

She was a town ward immediately upon her father's death, and continued so until 1691.[2] While in the care of the town, she gave birth to at least one child out of wedlock. On 5 March 1666/7, Dorethy Cromwell and Mary Woodbury deposed that as soon as Sarrah Lambert's child was born, she said it was Alester Grime's.[3] On 25 June 1667, "Alister Greime ... was bound over to this court ... upon suspeicion of fornication with Sara Lambert," and on 26 November 1667, "Sara Lambert was ordered to be whipped for fornication ..."[4]

Do you want this to become the profile of Richard's daughter, Sarah Lambert?

I find nothing to suggest a child, "Miss Unknown Lambert" belongs in the family of Richard Lambert.

The only thing I can think of to substantiate an existence for the person behind Lambert-399 is that Richard's wife was sometimes or often confused in the records about his daughter. so that this "Miss Unknown" might otherwise the daughter Robert Charles Anderson identified as "Sarah Lambert," for whom no profile appears in WikiTree.

Richard's daughter Sarah was born say 1636, and died after 1691. She led a troubled life, some of which was documented by Robert Charles Anderson, see Robert Charles Anderson, The Great Migration, Immigrants to New England, 1634-1635, Volume IV, I-L (2005), 223-25 (Richard Lambert); digital images by subscription, AmericanAncestors.
