Biography
Sarah was born in 1852. She is the daughter of Reuben Lampton and Nancy Fate. She passed away after 1860.
In the 1870 Census, Sarah is listed as age 19 (but she could have lied about her age to obtain her job, since her DOB would make her 17. She was a Domestic Servant to the Goodman Family.
In the 1880 Census, Sarah is 27, which would put her DOB back on track for 1852. Marital Status: Single. She was still a Servant to the Goodman Family.
She was married in November 7, 1881, and died around July 4, 1886, 6 months after the birth of her second child, Mabel Crawford. Sarah had two daughters; Jessie Maud Crawford and Mabel Crawford with Stephen Crawford.
By the 1900 Census, Stephen Crawford is married to a Susan Watson, whom he married in 1888.
