Biography
Albert was born in 1876. He is the son of Henry Lancaster and Louena Dayton. [1]
In 1880, the Lancaster family lived in Croton Landing, Westchester County, New York. All members of the household were born in New York, as were their parents. The family included Henry Lancaster, 40, a boatman; his wife, Louena, 25; their children, Sarah A., 9, in school; Louena, 7, in school; Albert, 4; and Mildred, 2. Also living with them was Louena’s widowed father, Josephus Dayton, 56, an engineer. [2]
